All Lovely Things Will Have an Ending (2006) documents a number of banal spaces in Savannah GA, a city known for its beautiful historic district. The images manifest an interest in the mythology of the South and question the type of imagery that is usually associated with the identity of a picturesque city. These representations of stillness and silence attempt to capture the entangled cultural structures of a place that is rapidly changing. The title references a popular poem by the native writer Conrad Aiken (1889-1973).
A zine with the black and white pictures of this series was published by Antler Press in 2014.
